In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
Amy Ragan, age 38 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Nicholas Cannestro, age 60 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of a speed less than 25 mph and driving under the influence.
Malachi Taylor, age 20 of Anniston, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of 2 counts of bail jumping.
Ashley Gott, age 38 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on a charge of 4th degree theft of property.
Denisha Sluss, age 43 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on a charge of cruelty to animals.
Jeshurun Underwood, age 26 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of driving under the influence.
Arrests are based upon probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 118 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
