COLLINSVILLE – The Collinsville Panthers went 3-0 in their own Christmas basketball tournament Dec. 19-21. They opened with a 64-54 win over Woodville on Thursday, defeated Valley Head 67-37 on Friday, and claimed a 77-63 win over Class 4A No. 5 Hokes Bluff on Saturday.
In the win over Woodville, Jake Middlebrooks tossed in 37 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.
Against Valley Head, Gavin Lang sank nine 3-pointers and finished with 27 points. Sam Stewart added 14 points.
In the win over Hokes Bluff, Middlebrooks delivered 40 points and 12 rebounds. Sylas Adams and Gavin Lang added 16 points apiece.
