WHITE PLAINS – Nevaeh Gaidurgis scored 16 points, grabbed eight rebounds and had two steals to lead the Cherokee County Lady Warriors to a 63-15 basketball win at White Plains on Thursday.
Brooklyn Bruce added 10 points, five steals and two assists for the Lady Warriors (10-1). Ava Martin managed a pair of 3-pointers and had eight points. Deannia Starr also delivered eight points along with six rebounds, four blocks, three steals and two assists. Jolie Alexander also netted eight points.
Ellisan Givens had seven points, and Libby Curry finished with four points, six steals, three rebounds and two assists.
Brooksly Thielker led the Lady Wildcats with 11 points.
Cherokee County jumped out to a 19-4 advantage at the end of the first quarter, then went on a 22-0 run in the second to take a 41-4 halftime lead. The Lady Warriors led 55-8 after three quarters.
Cherokee County hosts Fyffe on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Alabama ONE Cherokee Basketball Classic.
