The Class 3A Region 8 football coaches recently chose their all-region team. The Collinsville Panthers (8-3) had six selections in Mason McAteer, Quintavious Rogers, Kyler Beene, Fredy Rivera, Jeremiah Killian and Gavin Lang. Rogers was selected as Co-Athlete of the Year along with Geraldine’s Jordon Lankford.
Region champion Fyffe (9-3) had eight selections, including Player of the Year Logan Anderson and Co-Defensive Players of the Year in Simon Hicks and Tucker Wilks. Sylvania’s Aiden Parham was named Offensive Player of the Year.
The all-region selections are listed below. The Collinsville selections were also chosen to the All-DeKalb County Team also.
