Jarrett sinks four treys, leads Spring Garden girls in rout at Cedar Bluff

CEDAR BLUFF – Maggie Jarrett sank four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 26 points. She also earned four rebounds, two assists and a steal in leading the Spring Garden Lady Panthers to a 73-24 basketball rout of Cedar Bluff on Monday.

Olivia Law added 18 points, six rebounds, seven assists and two steals for the Lady Panthers (9-0). Ace Austin delivered 15 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, four steals and four blocks.

Lacie Jo McMurray had six points on a pair of 3-pointers. Avery Steward finished with five points, three steals and an assist.

Caley Bruce topped the Lady Tigers (8-4) with nine points. Janaya Higgins had six points and Paitlyn Walker finished with five points.

Spring Garden jumped out to a 22-4 first-quarter lead and built a 45-12 advantage at halftime. The Lady Panthers led 71-21 after three quarters.

Spring Garden travels to Springville on Tuesday. Cedar Bluff entertains Gaston.
