In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Lester Thornberry, age 34 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of three counts of harassment.

Scott Johnson, age 50 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Jimmy Nolan, age 49 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Terry Middlebrooks, age 57 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Tyler Adams, age 26 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Arrests are based upon probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 117 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
