Saturday afternoon, Cherokee County Central Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call from a man who said he had accidentally shot himself in the foot.
He said he was going out to shoot squirrels when he accidentally shot himself not realizing the safety was not on.
The incident was reported at 1:02 pm.
Cherokee County Sheriff Department, Gaylesville Fire, and Atrium Floyd EMS Responded.
