Mr. Jerry Leolan Manley, age 81, passed away December 4, 2024 at his residence. There will be a funeral service on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Donald Vaughn and Bro. Roger Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Perry Funeral Home from 1 to 2 pm on Sunday at Perry Funeral Home prior to the service. Mr. Manley was the son of Eunice and Annie Crisler Manley. He is survived by his son, Terry (Lisa) Manley; grandchildren, T.J (Virginia) Manley and Tyler (Brianna) Manley; great-grandchildren, Everett Manley, Lillith Manley and Oliver Manley; sister, Glenda (John) Mathis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Elliot Manley; and his sister, Evelyn Hightowe and brother -in-law Willard Hightower. Pallbearers will be Jamie Hightower, Rick Roberson, Randall Bryant, David Bryant, Albert Parker, and Willie Prater. Honorary pallbearers will be David Hanks and Donnie Walker.
