VALLEY HEAD – The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats improved to 3-1 on the basketball season with a 67-30 win at Valley Head on Monday.
Molly Grace Lay led the Lady Wildcats with 14 points, five steals and four assists. Maddie Clanton delivered her fourth double double in a row with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Peyton Johnson netted 12 points. Paitlyn Hughes and Megan Smith had eight points apiece.
Sand Rock plays Danville on Tuesday at Supreme Courts in Guntersville.
