ALEXANDRIA — Nevaeh Gaidurgis netted 19 points to lead the Cherokee County Lasy Warriors to a 49-22 basketball win over Sylacauga in the Champions Thanksgiving Tournament on Monday.
Ellisan Givens added nine points for the Lady Warriors. Brooklyn Bruce scored eight points. Libby Curry finished with six points.
The Lady Warriors led 8-2 at the end of the first quarter and held a 22-10 lead at halftime. Cherokee County held a 34-16 advantage after three quarters.
The Lady Warriors play Spring Garden in the tournament championship game on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
