In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Dan Wacaster, age 48 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on charges of driving under the influence- controlled substance.

Ralph Swafford, age 54 of Austell, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Arrests are based upon probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 123 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
