Mayor Bill Baker, of Piedmont wants all the residents to know next week will be a short work week for city employees due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

I have been asked to let you know that if you have garbage pick-up Thursday that you need to put your trash can out preferably Tuesday night.

Trash will be picked up early, early Wednesday morning and this is why it’s best to place your can out Tuesday night.

If you know someone who may not see this message on facebook please let them know what the plan involves.

We will work Monday, Tuesday and a half day Wednesday. We want to make sure that all city trash gets emptied.
