Investigators and Deputies Execute Drug Search Warrant at Tuckers Chapel Residence

Investigators and deputies conducted a drug search warrant at a residence in the Tuckers Chapel community on Thursday.

During the search, deputies discovered a shotgun, 5 ounces of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

As a result, Sandy Gowens, age 62 of Cedar Bluff, was taken into custody and charged with the following offenses:
• Drug Trafficking
• Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Firearm
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
