Just before 10:00pm on Friday, emergency responders were called to the West Rome, Georgia Walmart due to reports of a shooting incident. 

According to results of the preliminary investigation, a domestic dispute, was taking place outside of the store – which led to a female being struck by a bullet.  The alleged shooter attempted to flee from the scene, but he was quickly apprehended by officers.  That victim was transported to a local hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries.  This incident is believed to be isolated between familiar parties.

Anyone with ANY information is urged to call 9-1-1 and speak with Rome Police Department investigators.
