In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

BENJAMIN MOBBS – age 30 of Lyerly, Georgia – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Obstructing Justice/False ID and being a Fugitive from Justice;

SHENETHA STUBBS, age 44 from Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Failure to Appear on three prior counts of Driving While Revoked;

TEAIRA FERRELL, age 38 of Fort Payne, arrested by the Cherokee County sheriff’s Office and charged with Domestic/Harassment;

ALLISON CLARIDY age 28 of Leesburg – was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

WESLEY QUARLES age 36 of Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

JAMES AMOS, age 54 of Kennesaw, Georgia was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with three counts of Failure to Appear;

RICHARD BARNWELL age 36 of Piedmont – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with Failure to Appear/the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Failure to Appear/the Theft of Property 4th Degree;

DUSTY TRAMMELL – 27 from Gaylesville – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on an Insurance Violation;

And

ARIANA FIELD age 21 of Lyerly, Georgia – was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department and charged with Public Intoxication.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 111 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
