In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

STEVE ADERHOLT, age 63 of Centre, was arrested by Centre Police on the charge of Bail Jumping 2nd Degree;

DONALDTELLO JONES, age 26 of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (two counts), and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

AARON WILLIAMS, age 33 from Cedar Bluff was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

PHILLIP SLAYTON age 33 of Piedmont – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, charged with Failure to Appear on the previous charge of Trafficking Methamphetamine;

STEPHEN FLEMING, age 53 of Leesburg, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on Fugitive from Justice charges;

MICHAEL BENTLEY – age 39 of Centre – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Burglary 3rd Degree – the Possession of Burglary Tools – and a Violation of Protection Order;

And

HEMAN PATEL age 44 of Centre was arrested by Centre Police on charges of Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 117 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
