This week’s WEIS Radio’s “Unsung Heroes of the Week” are all of the hard working men and women that worked at all of the voting polls

across Cherokee County this past Tuesday. I also want to include all of the Law Enforcement that were on the premises for all of the citizen’s

of Cherokee County’s protection and safety. My wife Carole, and I vote at Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church in Cedar Bluff.

Cedar Bluff Council Member Mrs. Loretta Higgins was working at this historic event. All of these volunteers worked for at least 14 hours.

These volunteers give up their time to help the area in such a needed way I just felt this could not be overlooked.

The men and woman selected for this recognition are pivotal to the success of the workplace. In this case all of the voting polls in Cherokee County.
