In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

CHRISTOPHER HART, age 47 of Cedar Bluff was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

ROBERT SMITH, age 40 from Talking Rock, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree;

DENNIS GRIFFITT age 65 of Rainbow City – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Driving Under the Influence;

And

JESSICA MARTIN – 39 of Anniston – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and is On Hold for another agency.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 109 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
