There was a series of successful drug-related arrests made in our area in the month of October.
Throughout October Cherokee County Deputies from both the patrol and investigations units – arrested 16 individuals, on charges related to drug possession, trafficking, and distribution. The substances seized included methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine – along with paraphernalia and other items.
Sheriff Jeff Shaver commented “…these arrests are the direct result of the hard work and the dedication of our deputies – along with the invaluable cooperation by the community members, that share our commitment to a drug-free Cherokee County.”
