Mr. Thomas Irvin Beavers age 75 from Centre, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held 10 AM Sunday, November 10, 2024 at the VFW Post 4911: 2632 Cedartown Hwy SW, Rome, GA 30161.

Mr. Beavers is survived by his wife, Susan Beavers; son, Gerald Beavers (Dana); daughter, Teri Tosto (Adam); brothers, Roger Beavers and Sam Beavers; grandchildren, Cameron Cotham (Sarah), Kimberly Mitchell (Jake), Carrie Beavers and Rylee Tosto; great grandchildren, Anni Mitchell and Tucker Mitchell; several nieces and nephews also remain.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Jim Beavers.

Mr. Beavers was a native of West Virginia and the son of the late Jack and Jacqueline Beavers. Thomas served our country as a Marine for 22 years, before he retired in 1989. He served in the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart recipient. After retiring from the Marines, he worked for the government for 24 years as a civil servant.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Jake Puryear Marine Corp League in Rome, GA or VFW Post 4911 in Rome, GA.
