In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
JOSEPH PALMER 44 from Bonaire, Georgia was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Failure to Appear – on the previous charges of the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and also the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;
JAMES RAY, 29 from Rome, Georgia was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with Failure to Appear on previous counts of Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Pistol, and with Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree;
DIANE TRAISTER, age 78 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by Centre Police on charges of DUI/Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol;
JESSE SKINNER, age 32 of Centre, was arrested by Centre Police, and is on HOLD for Another Agency;
CALVIN SIMS age 53 from Leesburg was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Theft by Deception 1st Degree;
And
JAMISON PHIBBS age 25 of Ringgold, Georgia was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and charged with Failure to Appear on prior counts of Speeding as well as a Switched Tag.
Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 104 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
