At approximately 1:45 pm. this afternoon (Friday) a woman was injured when two vehicles collided on Griffith Street located next to the Grub Mart. One vehicle left the road way, over turning with the driver entrapped briefly.

First responders were Atrium Health Floyd EMS, Centre Police and Fire Departments. The woman was extricated from the wreckage with the driver transported to a local hospital.
