Someone Set Fires that Destroyed Ballot Boxes in Two States Burning Hundreds of Ballots

Authorities are investigating early morning fires that were set in ballot drop boxes in Portland, Oregon and in nearby Vancouver, Washington, where hundreds of election ballots were destroyed.

Washington and Oregon are both vote-by-mail states. Registered voters receive their ballots in the mail a few weeks before elections and then return them in ballot drop boxes.

The FBI is investigating this incident.
