20th Annual Rock Run Christmas Parade Set for Saturday, December 21

The organizers for the Rock Run Christmas Parade announces the Annual Event is “ON” for this year.

This year marks a milestone of 20 years for the community Christmas parade, with participants and spectators coming from all over the state and neighboring Georgia and Tennessee.

Governor Kay Ivey and President Donald Trump are among those who have been invited to participate in the past. The group organizing the event received an acknowledgement letter from President Trump with his regrets he could not attend. So you never know who may show up at the Rock Run Christmas Parade.

There had been some social media chatter about the event, which was “incorrect.”

The parade begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, with line up at 11:30 a.m. and all activities at the Rock Run Baptist Church. The parade route will remain the same as previous years.

Specially designed shirts will be available marking the 20th Anniversary.
