In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

CHANDLER SIMMONS, age 37 of Oxford, arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on charges of – the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree,  Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and also with Buying/Receiving Stolen Property;

JARROD KENNEDY – age 31 of Leesburg arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – Failure to Appear on charges of the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Firearm;

MARION GRAVELY age 49 from Cedar Bluff was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and he was charged with Failure to Appear on two prior SORNA (the Sex Offender Registration Notification Act) violations – and also charged with an additional SORNA violation;

ALISHA TIDWELL, age 37, from Centre – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Non-Support;

MISTY FUGATT, age 41 of Piedmont was arrested by Centre Police, on the charge of Failure to Appear on a previous charge of Theft of Property 4th Degree;

And

AUSTIN FRASIER age 24 of Fort Payne – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Reckless Endangerment.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 110 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
