In the Cherokee County Arrest files for the previous 24 hours:

JONATHAN AYERS, age 43 of Leesburg – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Failure to Appear on the prior charges of Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct;

LISA ADKINS, age 35 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on a charge of Failure to Appear on the previous count of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Surface;

EDWARD COCHRAN age 54 of Resaca, Georgia – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of Theft of Property 1st Degree;

And

JAMES HIGGINBOTHAM age 56 of Leesburg was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department, and charged with Domestic Violence 3rd Degree, also Menacing, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 110 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
