A single-vehicle accident occurred at approximately 3:45am Wednesday, on Highway 9 in Cedar Bluff near the Country Store – going toward Rome in north Georgia.
A vehicle had left the roadway, coming to rest in a ditch. Law Enforcement units and others quickly responded to that scene, and treated the driver who was complaining of possible injuries as a result of the mishap.
That incident remains under investigation.
