A Cherokee County man has recently been arrested by Leesburg Police – on two counts of Rape 1st Degree, and causing Delinquency/Dependency or Need of Supervision of Children (two counts).
Michael Battles, age 51 from Leesburg, was arrested and booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center on those charges by Leesburg Police. Battles was booked into jail, around 7:20pm Monday, where he currently remains.
