This is a very inspiring story. Jamie Parker, an 11- year old boy from North Carolina, was separated from his family after a mudslide caused by Hurricane Helene that crushed his grandparents’ home close to Asheville.

The family dog named Tucker wouldn’t stop barking near a 12-foot deep pile of stone that Jamie was pinned underneath.

The family dog wouldn’t leave the area and continued to bark nonstop until firefighters showed up to dig the boy out. Jamie was medically cleared. But, Tucker was the hero and saved Jamie’s life.
