In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

CHELSEA THOMAS age 25 of Springville arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with a Court Order and

WILLIAM VESSELL age 41 of Gaylesville arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Failure to Appear on previous charges of Attempting to Elude and Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, as well as three counts of Probation Revocation.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 115 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
