đThe City of Attalla’s Heritage Day Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free admission. There will be something for everyone to enjoy in Historic Downtown Attalla. There will be a kid zone for all ages and over 125 food and craft vendors. Two stages of live music will feature performances by the Etowah High School Band, Kings of Swing, II Da Maxx Band, Jeremy Noble, Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble, Still Broke, Woody Strut Bankd, Jon Player, Adam Swann, Ragan Lonneragan, and Southland Soul. Gadsden State Cherokee invites you to Trunk or Treat on Friday, Oct. 25, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm in the front Academic Building parking lot at 801 Cedar Bluff Road in Centre. The free public event will include Trunk or Treat, games, candy, face painting, and an opportunity to have your picture made with Swoop.
