Pine Grove Baptist Church has announced that they are once again collecting items for the victims of Hurricane Helene.
The church is asking the public to help fill a second 48′ tractor trailer with aid relief supplies to be sent to hard-hit communities in North Carolina.
They hope to load this trailer on Sunday, Oct. 13, in order to send it to North Carolina on Monday morning, Oct. 14.
As the weather in those communities will quickly begin to transition to much colder temperatures, there is now a great need for log splitters and generators (new or used). If you have either of these items that you would be willing to donate, they should be in proper working order so they can immediately be put into service when upon arrival. Because these items are more costly, the church will also receive monetary donations, which will be used for their purchase.
Gas/fuel cans are also needed to deliver the fuel to run these items on site.
Pine Grove thanks you again for the tremendous response to the first trailer, and hopes that you will join them in filling up this second trailer to help those who are suffering in the aftermath of this storm.
