Mr. Steven Alvin Burleson, age 50 of Gaylesville, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, October 10, 2024 in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Hawkins officiating, burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM till the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will include Charlie Reno, Kevin Spurlock, Chris Lawson, Jeff Sims, Chris Edwards, Brandon Hairel, Jason Adams and Chris Herron.

Mr. Burleson is survived by his father, Steve Burleson (Rose); son, Michael Burleson (Amber Moses); daughter, Amanda Burleson (Cole Kucharski); brothers, Shaun Burleson, Corey Wells, Chad Wells and Billy Joe Busby; sister, Elizabeth “Sissy” Reno; 7 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Busby; significant other, Mimi Luna.

Mr. Burleson was a native of Cherokee County.
