Cherokee County Arrest Files for Wednesday, October 9th, 2024

In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

NATHAN DEATON – age 53 of Cedar Bluff – arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and is currently On Hold for another agency;

JOSEPH WATTERS, 39 of Gadsden – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with Failure to Appear on previous counts of

Domestic Violence/Strangulation and Attempting to Elude;

RACHEL BURLINGTON, age 35 of Anniston, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Conditional Release Violation;

ANDREA OSBORNE, age 56 of Hoover – was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance/Pills as well as the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree;

BOBBY TAYLOR, age 53 of Wellington was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on charges of the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, and also Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

CHARLES NEAL – age 46 of Gaylesville – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Trafficking Meth, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and the Failure to Appear on a charge of Theft 1st Degree;

ANTONIO LEWIS, age 37 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance;

RONALD RIGBY, age 64 of Gaylesville – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on the charges of – Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

TIMOTHY STEPHENS, age 32 of Leesburg – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Reckless Endangerment;

And

CONNOR SMITH, age 19 of Guntersville, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 117 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
