Mr. Albert Hobson Lindsey, age 83 of Centre, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024 at his residence.
A funeral service will be held 6:00PM Wednesday, October 9, 2024 in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Marty Grimes and Bro. Jeff Barber officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00PM till the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow 9:00AM Thursday, October 10th at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include San Ray, Tim Gifford, Bo Jolly, Tim Trammell, Seth Rochester and Keith Tolbert. Honorary Pallbearers will include the Jack’s Round Table.
Mr. Lindsey is survived by his son, Terry Joe Lindsey (Andrea); son-in-law, Darrell Deberry; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; special friend Johnny Lowe.
He is preceded in death by his son, Gene Lindsey and daughter, Kathy Deberry.
Mr. Lindsey was a lifelong native of Alabama and the son of the late John and Leila Lindsey. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
