WEIS RADIO’S UNSUNG HERO’S OF THE WEEK

This week’s WEIS Radio’s “Unsung Hero’s of the Week” are the sisters of the Cedar Bluff Post Office. April Flynt and her sister Ashley Carroll. If ever you go to the Cedar Bluff Post Office there is a very good chance you will see these two young ladies behind the counter. The Postmaster of the Cedar Bluff Post Office told WEIS Radio these are the two best clerks she has ever had. Both of the sisters said they really like to interact with the public and they have met and befriended many people in the town of Cedar Bluff. They also said there is a lot of multitasking that goes along with clerking at the Post Office. But, they both love their jobs.

April Flynt, is a 2002 Cedar Bluff High School graduate. She has worked in the postal service since 2016. She has a boyfriend Jeffrey ,and a son Lathan Hoske who is a senior on the Cedar Bluff football team.

Ashley Carroll, is a 2011 Cedar Bluff High School graduate. She has worked in the postal service since 2019. She has a partner Ashly, and she is the Postmaster at the Centre Post Office.

Both, of the sisters of the Cedar Bluff Post Office make it an enjoyable trip whenever you have to pick up some mail or packages.

Each week, the men and women selected for this recognition are pivotal to the success of the workplaces where they are employed.
