Memorial service for Judy Roberts Morgan, 75, of Piedmont will be Sunday, October 06, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Piedmont First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Michael Burgess, Rev. Dr. Michael Morgan, and Rev. Dr. Kevin Payne officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the church. Mrs. Morgan passed away Thursday at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Randy Morgan of Piedmont; two daughters, Amanda Morgan (Natasha) of Jacksonville and Jordan Morgan Costner (Clay) of Alexandria; four grandchildren, Miller Morgan, Cooper Morgan, Lynley Costner, and Crew Costner; two nieces, Angie Everly and Susan Nelson; and one nephew, Joey Lupy. Pallbearers will be Andrew Dempsey, Harlan Stewart, Jim Wilson, John Strickland, Joey Spivey, Andy Ellis, Teddy Grogan, Jerome Wilson, Leon Bradley, Gerald Kirkpatrick, and Keith Pace. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Granger Latta Sunday School Class at the Piedmont First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Morgan was a long-time resident of Piedmont. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was very active and had held positions on all the committees through the years. She loved her family dearly and adored her grandchildren. She was always the proud grandmother that never missed any ball games. She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed working in her flowers and was an avid Auburn Football and Basketball fan. Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her parents, Weldon Hughes and Edna Roberts; and a sister, Ginger Roberts Lupy.
