Marshall County authorities have released the identity of the man whose body was found in a home last Sunday. The Coroner’s Office said that the body of Brent Alison Jenkins, age 73 – was discovered inside his home in Union Grove.
According to the Sheriff’s Office – deputies arrived at an address on Mill Hollow Road – for a welfare check at about 5:45pm Sunday; the deputies entered the residence and found the body of a man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Coroner’s Office said there’s no indication or a suspicion of foul play in the death, but the case does still under investigation.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and also the Alabama Department of Forensic Science/Huntsville Laboratory are assisting in the investigation
