According to Alabama State Trooper reports an individual was killed in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in neighboring DeKalb County.
The wreck happened at 3:01pm on Alabama Highway 75 in the Ider area, and that collision involved both a 2007 Kawasaki Motorcycle, and a 2020 Freightliner Truck. The motorcycle rider, identified as 56 year old Calvin Davis of Albertville – was fatally injured in the wreck; the truck driver was not hurt.
The accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
