Cherokee County, Piedmont and Spring Garden all maintained their rankings in the latest Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football rankings. The latest poll was released early Wednesday morning.

Cherokee County (4-1) holds steady at No. 3 in the Class 4A rankings following a 47-0 victory at White Plains last Friday. The Warriors travel to Class 6A Shades Valley (2-3) this Friday.

Class 3A Piedmont (4-0) maintains its No. 4 ranking. The Bulldogs are coming off a bye week and will host B.B. Comer (1-3) on Friday.

Following its 32-13 win at Valley Head, Spring Garden (5-0) is still ranked sixth in Class 1A. The Panthers travel to Cedar Bluff (2-3) on Friday.
