Lady Warriors tabbed top seed in Saturday’s Cherokee County Volleyball Tournament

CEDAR BLUFF – The Cherokee County Lady Warriors have been tabbed the top seed in Saturday’s Cherokee County Volleyball Tournament. Cedar Bluff is this year’s tournament host. Admission is $8. The tournament format is best 2-out-of-3 sets and double elimination.

The top-seeded Lady Warriors open tournament play at 10 a.m. They will take on the winner of the 8 a.m. match between No. 4 Cedar Bluff and No. 5 Gaylesville.

Defending tournament champion and second-seeded Spring Garden takes on No. 3 Sand Rock at 9 a.m. Spring Garden defeated Sand Rock in last year’s tournament championship match 25-12, 25-19.

The winners bracket match is at noon. Losers bracket matches are at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. The championship match is at 3 p.m., with an if-necessary match at 4 p.m.
