In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

JOSHUA BANNISTER, age 34 of Centre – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with a Probation Revocation (two counts)

And

EDWARD FRIER, age 43 of Gadsden was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Writ of Arrest/Non-Support.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 114 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
