A 26 year old Cedartown, Georgia man was arrested following a stabbing incident in Silver Creek on Wednesday evening.
According to Floyd County Jail records Juan Jose Cruz Rangel stabbed the victim in the stomach causing a small laceration during an altercation on Rockmart Highway. Rangel has been charged with a felony count of Aggravated Assault.
The incident remains under investigation.
