Cherokee County Arrest Files for Wednesday, September 18th, 2024

In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

LAURA PAYNE age 43 of Gaylesville was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, for Failure to Appear on previous charges of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

REDRICK MONCRIEF, age 54 of Hokes Bluff was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

ZACHARY NELSON, age 29 of Piedmont, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with Failure to Appear on previous counts of Theft of Property 4th Degree and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, and also two counts of Alias Writ of Arrest/the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance;

CECIL MINYARD – age 54 of Piedmont – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on the charges of Alias Writ of Arrest and also two counts of Failure to Appear – Comply/Pay;

ASHLEY HALL age 33 of Collinsville was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute, Use OR Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia, and Failure to Appear on charges of Driving Under the Influence;

LARRY BRANNON, age 61 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Revoked Bond and Failure to Appear on the counts of:  Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, and also the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance/Bondsman off Bond;

JONATHAN NICHOLSON – 38 of Centre – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of – Failure to Appear, on the previous charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and also Driving While Revoked;

KENNETH DOUELL, 51 of Piedmont was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

KRISTIN FOSTER, age 31 of Gaylesville, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

And

KELIA CRIDER age 41 of Gaylesville was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (three counts), and also with the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 113 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
