In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

AMANDA IVEY age 43 of Gaylesville was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Failure to Appear/Theft by Deception 2nd Degree;

ELVIS BISHOP, age 45 of Hokes Bluff – was arrested by Centre Police and charged with Bail Jumping;

DONNIE ABERNATHY, age 47 of Centre, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order;

TIMOTHY TEEMS, age 63, from Centre – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Conditional Release Violation;

And

BRANDON HENDERSON, age 29 from Lyerly, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 107 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
