In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

TIMOTHY NAIL, age 35 of Piedmont, was arrested by Centre Police on the charge of DUI/Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol;

MELFORD BOWERS 26 from Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with Failure to Appear, on a previous charge of Theft of Property 4th Degree;

CHRYSTAL LAND, age 39, of Marietta, Georgia – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with Failure to Appear on a previous charge of Probation Revocation;

And

HEATHER SIMONDS, age 43, of Rome, Georgia – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with a Probation Revocation.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 108 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
