In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

REBECCA NORWOOD, age 57 of Piedmont – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with a Court Order;

RALPH HUNTER, age 64 from Piedmont arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Failure to Appear on the prior charges of Theft of Property 4th Degree;

CARRIE LINDSEY, age 35 of Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

And

AARON GREENE, 33 of Trenton, Georgia arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Assault with Bodily Fluids.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 103 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
