HOKES BLUFF – The Cherokee County Lady Warriors improved to 15-5 on the volleyball season with an area sweep at Hokes Bluff on Tuesday. The scores were 25-11, 25-17 and 25-23.
Ava Haygood delivered nine kills, five digs, four aces and a block. Nevaeh Gaidurgis contributed eight kills, three digs, three aces, two blocks and an assist. Ellisan Givens posted nine digs, two aces and an assist. Lilly Shaw came away with five kills, two blocks and a dig.
Raegan Garmany managed four kills and a dig. Shamiya McElrath had three kills and a dig. Jesslyn Hincy accounted for three aces and a dig. Macy Lea finished with 21 assists, four digs, two aces and a kill.
Cherokee County plays a tri-match at Donoho with Saks on Thursday.
