A Centre, Alabama man was apprehended on Rooney Road, in northwest Georgia, after reportedly fleeing from police over the weekend.
According to Floyd County Jail records: A law enforcement officer attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Robert Wayne King for using the wrong tag. King refused to stop and plowed through two stop signs – traveling 60 in a 25-mile-per-hour zone. He then got out of the vehicle and then fled on foot – before being caught by a K-9 unit. King was then found with methamphetamine.
He is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude, unlawful possession of meth, concealing the identity of a vehicle, and also with various stop sign violations.
