Gadsden Has New Highway Patrol Office

Earlier in the year, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency announced they had reached an agreement with the City of Gadsden to relocate their local Highway Patrol Post in Gadsden.

Monday, the City of Gadsden and ALEA cut the ribbon on the new facility officially opening the New Post at the Gadsden Fire Department Training and Prevention Center. It is located on the campus of the Gadsden Airport at 5121 Airport Road.

Mayor Craig Ford welcomed ALEA’s Secretary Hal Taylor and several leaders from ALEA to celebrate the occasion. Mayor Ford said he and City Officials are looking forward to a long and productive partnership.
